"Hispania, la leyenda" ( Hispania, the legend) was a Spanish television series set in the Iberian Peninsula during the second century. C . Produced by Bamboo Productions for Antena 3 , was released on October 25 of 2010 . Created by Ramon Campos, was shot in Madrid and natural landscapes of the region of La Vera in Caceres. The first season consists of nine episodes of about an hour each, to be issued in Antena 3 between the 25 October of 2010 and January 11 of 2011 , while the second, composed of eight episodes, aired between May 10 and June 28 of that year. The third and final season of the series consists of 3 episodes broadcast between 11 and 25 June 2012 . The series tells the story of Viriato who, with a group of Lusitanian , tries to free his people from the Roman army
