The spirit maiden Jixiang descends the mountain in search of the precious Myriad Spirits Pearl, unwittingly stirring up memories with the human lad Ye Zhou. As she aids Ye Zhou in tracking down the whereabouts of the wicked wolf spirit, Jixiang and Ye Zhou gradually grow to know and love each other. Alongside reclaiming the Myriad Spirits Pearl, Jixiang also transforms from a naive spirit maiden into a worthy queen of her race.
