Tagarin

Tagārin is a short-form spin-off series from the 2013 Galileo drama (Season 2), consisting of 11 episodes, each around 7 minutes long. It aired on Fuji TV in a late-night time slot. The show follows Detective Minoru Ōtagawa , a supporting character from Galileo Season 2. He teams up with Chihiro Ejima , a female traffic officer, to investigate off-the-record or covert cases that aren't part of official police reports. Unlike the main Galileo series, which centers on physicist Yukawa solving strange scientific phenomena, Tagārin focuses on minor side cases, interpersonal banter, and has a more comedic, lighthearted tone. Yukawa himself does not appear in this spin-off. While not essential to the main plot of Galileo , Tagārin expands the universe by showcasing what happens behind the scenes with side characters. It gives fans a broader perspective of the Galileo world and adds charm to the supporting cast.
