Chantale Daigle, at the age of 21, falls in love and then pregnant with Jean-Guy Tremblay, a man who will prove to be manipulative and aggressive. After a stormy relationship, she leaves him, chooses to have an abortion... but Jean-Guy, wounded in his pride and eager to maintain their relationship, appeals to justice to prevent it. Against all odds, a judge agrees with Jean-Guy. Will she find the strength to assume her choice until the end?
