Qi Lu who comes from a family of artists, was forced to learn painting from a young age under his father's controlling influence. In his senior year of high school, due to a misunderstanding, he decides to study in Liu Ming Yang's studio. There, he meets Qin Xiao, a village boy living in the city, and a talented painter burdened by family responsibilities. Qin Xiao turns out to be the online artist "Lan" (Blue) whom Qi Lu has been searching for. Feeling guilty towards Lan, Qi Lu struggles to muster the courage to confess his secret to the seemingly irritable Qin Xiao. Instead, he approaches Qin Xiao with the hope of becoming friends. As they break the ice and grow closer, Qi Lu becomes increasingly moved by Qin Xiao's resilience and starts to have different expectations for their relationship...
