Luda is a strong woman who carries an exorbitant burden on fragile shoulders. She fights with her husband's drunkenness, brings up children, helps her friend and patiently stomachs her mother-in-law. But fate seems to test the heroine for strength, and the next blow is not a small-time trouble, but a real tragedy. Luda's husband tragically dies in a fire, and the house burns down. As if running amuck, her close ones drop their masks and betray the heroine - the mother-in-law refuses to give her shelter, and the best friend drives her into the street out of stupid jealousy.
