From narrowly escaping death in Huaiyang County, to uncovering the mystery of ghost marriages in Luoxian Town, and confronting deadly demonic forces within the capital's Baihua House, each life-and-death adventure compels them to rediscover one another. In the end, they not only overturn the tragic fate written in the original novel, but also mend their fractured relationship through their dangerous journey in this otherworldly realm, becoming true partners bound together through life and death.
