Under the guise of collecting a debt, she moves into Yang Guan's home while secretly searching for the research left behind by his father. Constant friction follows, but as Yang Guan and Ye Zhiqiu face one hardship after another together, their feelings gradually deepen. However, believing Yang Guan is responsible for their mother's death, Yang Ying sets a series of schemes in motion and publicly exposes Ye Zhiqiu's true identity as an undercover agent, shattering the trust between the couple. Determined to uncover the truth about his past, Yang Guan stages a livestreamed rooftop stunt that unexpectedly brings long-buried secrets to light. In the end, the true culprit is brought to justice, Yang Ying realizes her mistakes, and Yang Guan finally clears his debts and begins a new chapter with Ye Zhiqiu and Lele as a happy family.
