Jang Gi U is a 32-year-old temporary high school teacher. Four years ago, he became the subject of an inappropriate rumor involving a student. As a result, he never took the teacher certification examination and has instead spent the years moving from one contract teaching position to another. Raised in a single-mother household, he grew up constantly hearing that he had to be someone with "no flaws in the eyes of others." He lives as a person who appears flawless, but his life feels dull and unremarkable. At least, that is what everyone says.
