Catedrales is told across two timelines as the Sardá family confronts the devastating truth behind a thirty-year-old murder. In 1986, Ana, the youngest daughter of the devoutly religious family, is found dismembered and burned in a vacant lot. The case is closed without a suspect, and the family accepts their grief in silence — all except Lía, who walks away from everything. In 2018, Lía returns to Santiago to be with her dying father, whose last wish is to learn what happened to Ana. Moving between past and present, the series unravels a history steeped in religious extremism, forbidden love, and a web of lies that destroyed them all.
